If hell were in Waterloo it would freeze over in this weather
Man, it is so cold up here today, much like yesterday! I left the house to do some x-mas shopping yesterday and I just started to cough when I hit the cold. I was able to feel my lungs freeze a little bit more each time I inhaled.....so cold.
So anyway, what's new on this end? Well it's been a while since I posted so a lot has happened really. First things first, I did find a new place to live in Waterloo and I move in sometime after x-mas. I'm actually looking forward to settling into this place for a year or so. I got a nice two bedroom apartment in uptown waterloo and I'm within walking distance to all the bars. The rent is comparable to some of the 1 bedroom apartments I've been looking at but it is still relatively expensive. I frankly don't care because it's in a great location, it's clean, landlord is great and there I a lot of room for me. The only negative is that the place is not furnished soooo..with that said I will have go out and spend all my money on the basics, such as couches and such over the next few months. *sigh* But at least once I do that I will finally be "settled" in, hopefully :)
What else is on my plate? I purchased pre-sale tickets to Sarah McLachlan for a show in London, I managed to get 13 rows from the front, center. Not to shabby if I do say so myself, should be a great time. Going to see Sarah with Sarah should be a great time. Sarah is also a huge Ani DiFranco fan and I think we shall be checking her out at the Hummingbird center in April sometime, but I will probably end up dragging her to U2 or NIN when they tour Toronto, it's all fair.
X-mas in Waterloo is kind of slow, doesn't really feel much like a holiday. I get 10 days off work, paid, so I'm looking forward to that but still. I think I would rather be home for Christmas. As much as I like Waterloo I would still rather be back in NF I think. In due time I will be swinging home, probably in March or April. I purchased a ticket the other day to go to Calgary to visit the b'ys. I'll be leaving here Feb 10th and I'll be back on the 15th. Never realized it but I will be in Calgary for Valentines day..hehe...silly me. Sometimes I don't think!
Anyway, I got to jet, stuff needs to be done! Code doesn't write it's self!
