What's New

Well a lot of stuff has happened to me as of late. I finished my Term 8 project, presentation, demonstration and documentation. I also got myself a full time job offer with Research In Motion for the summer, which is great. I'm 8 days away from writing my last exam ever so I figure I would fire up a post just so say I'm alive and well...

Well as I said before I did finish up my Term 8 project. From my previous post I think you can get an idea of what I did. I'm going to put up my powerpoint presentation here so you can have a better idea as to what my project was. Everythign went well so I was happy with the result of everything. The night of celebrations that followed were pretty intense to say the least. Good to be done!!

With that said I only have something like 14 days to Iron Ring ceremony! Imagine me with an iron ring? Bahh!!! If I can make it I just goes to show that anyone can be an engineer eh? When I finish my exams on the 16th I will enter a three week drunk. I spend the first week drunk with my class in Newfoundland doing our graduation celebrations with everyone and then I leave for two weeks in the Dominican. So all and all, it will be a three week drunk. I'm going to have to pace myself to keep up with everyone. haha...

Well a few days ago I got the offical job offer from RIM for a job. There was somethign tentative sitting on the table for a while but the VP's finally approved my position! So right now me and my boss are working out a fair start date. I think it will be mid-late July,2004. Part of my is dying to go up there so I can start making money, they are paying me really well, but I also want to goof off for 4 months. I can honestly say I never had a vacation in the past 5 years. Meh! What can ya do eh? But all and all the job seems excellent and the pay is great. I would be an idiot if I turned it down!

Anyway, I should be studying so I be off and up out!!!!

I wonder if anyone reads this stuff?
